House Cleaning Tips and Schedules

We all want to keep our homes cleaner, if not just for our own peace of mind then to provide our children with a clean atmosphere to grow up in.  Here are a few house cleaning tips that you can get started with today:

1. Hire a professional cleaning service at least twice a month. When you start with a clean home, you can keep your house clean much longer. Not only that, it's much easier to clean and it takes you less time when you don't have to scrub the toilets or mop the floors yourself.
2. Involve your entire family. Ask your husband and children to get involved and become dedicated to helping you achieve a consistently clean home.
   
3. Organize and discard your clutter. A cluttered home is a forever messy home. Remove items you no longer use. A great way to get rid of clutter and make some extra cash is to hold a garage sale or a sale online.
   
4. Clean your home on a schedule. Put up a calendar for cleaning in much the same way you have a schedule of activities. Schedule your days with the professional house cleaners and then plan your extra cleaning around them.
   
5. Don't stress about it! By spending five minutes per hour picking up items or wiping something down, you too can achieve a clean home.
